A mysterious bluetooth device keeps reconnecting despite every effort to remove it. Even efforts at purging ALL bluetooth devices and reconnecting them have failed. Worst of all, whenever it is connected, it feels like I'm remotely logged in to my computer over a dial-up connection; my mouse lags that horribly. This is happening on both my login and my wife's login. Oddly enough, 'her' iPhone connects on my login and 'my' iPhone connects on her login. I say 'hers' and 'mine' because the MAC addresses on the mysterious devices doesn't match the one in our phones' (Settings General About Bluetooth). I don't think this is a security problem.
I do think that somehow it is, in fact, our devices that are connecting because whenever my wife walks back into the room or unlocks her iPhone BAM it reconnects. Things I've tried:.
Every sound, like voice chat itself as well as message notifications are played through my build in speakers, even if 'default output device' is chosen and my bluetooth headset is the default output device of my OS. I am developing an application which will send a request to a bluetooth printer for printing. The code is working fine for real devices, but I want to run it on the Android Emulator.
Bluetooth Menu Icon Disconnect. Bluetooth Menu Icon (while holding option) Remove. Deleting the plist file(s) in /Library/Preferences and /Library/Preferences and restarting the computer. Editing the plist file(s) to remove the device with the mysterious MAC address (DID THAT. THEN THE MAC ADDRESS CHANGED WHEN IT RETURNED!) If this posting seems familiar, I did post about it before and thought for sure I had solved this. The only thing I haven't tried is reseting EVERY bluetooth connection in the house. Fitbits, laptops, phones.

No webcam drivers are required. Windows 7/8/10 and Linux also natively support UVC class video cameras. Think FireWire instead. Modern high-resolution UVC cams simply WILL NOT WORK on old 800mhz or less Macs, who's slow and incompatible USB 1.x speed ports are FOURTY TIMES slower that USB 2.0.
Those that claim to be USB 1.1 compatible in their Specification listings may have utterly abysmal frame-rates on USB 1.x or show NO image at all, even though Apple's System Profiler may recognize the camera exists on the USB 1.1 bus. USB cameras aren't the only options to provide Macintosh users with high quality choices to chat and videoconference using popular Mac OSX applications like FaceTime, Yahoo Messenger, Apple Messages, Skype, and ISPQ VideoChat. One option is a Mac compatible USB webcam with a mic which most (but not all) webcams incorporate.
However, separate headsets or earbuds can help you have a far better videoconferencing or Mac Skype call experience and help minimize background noise, echo and feedback. A USB desktop microphone with great sound quality and easy to tap mute switch is a great option. USB headsets with microphones may have more advantages than 1/8' Analog mini-jack types that often compete with your speaker system.
